Welcome to Northern Seams
Hello and welcome to our new Social Enterprise. We are going to be a Community Interest Company. We are Beverley Holmes-Wright (Textile Artist) and Omi Pharncote (Feltmaker). We hope to be up and running by the beginning of 2008. We will be based at Blackhall Mill Community Centre which is west of Gateshead on the borders with Durham and Northumberland.
We want to support people with learning disabilities who would love to make textile arts and crafts or become textile artists in their own right.
We will make beautiful textile crafts upload them onto our online gallery and shop, organise exhibitions, workshops for the general public and have open days.
