Welcome to Northern Seams

Hello and welcome to our new Social Enterprise. We are a Community Interest Company. We are Beverley Holmes-Wright (Designer Maker) and Omi Pharncote (Feltmaker).

We work with people who love to make textile arts and crafts and who need support during the day, such as people with learning disabilities or the elderly.

We make beautiful textile crafts upload them onto our online gallery and shop, organise exhibitions, workshops for the general public and have Open Days.

We have a studio at Brickworks in Newcastle but also use local accessible community venues across the North East. If you would like us to run a workshop for your community group or school, plase call Omi on 01207 562742 or email info@northernseams.co.uk.

Winners of the Talk Talk Innovation in the Community Award 2007

Please take a look at our gorgeous hand made textile goodies – you can buy online – hand made original textile art is just a click away.
