Northern Seams have received an Awards For All Grant for a project called 'The Fabric of Life'. We will be running workshops for people with learning disabilities and people over 65 to support them to make Textile Memory Books that will go into an exhibition touring the North East. A big thanks to the Big Lottery for funding this exciting and innovative project.
The first workshops are going to be with people who attend the Richmond Fellowship Day service in Lanchester later this month. Pictures of work in progress will be able to be viewed shortly.
If you would like to make a textile memory book please email or ring us to find out where the nearest workshop will be.
